120mm fan search, best overall?

Thread Starter
Hey, i'm looking for some decent 120mm fan's, 4x total, + a decent 80mm (i'll probably pick out a led edition, but something with high cfm, low sound).

Main question is, what would ya'll suggest as the best/better 120mm fan's, with high cfm, low sound.

I'm getting the Antec p180b case in 1 week. So i'm just curious what's best for it overall. (One fan spot can be 120x120x38mm approx).

And merry christmas

Silverstone FM121:

There are fans with higher cfm. There are fans with lower dBa... but these have perfomed the best insofar as balance of the 2 ratings.

The FM121 is good but once you get it up to full speed (2400rpm), it becomes unbearable, the noise level is horrible and I don't think it's worth all that noise for the little extra (if indeed there is.....) CFM.

I run mine at 2,000rpm, the most I can stand.

I also bought the FM121... and they are currently getting drouned out by my CPU Cooler... I'm running them at the lowest setting though.

They are decent fans, and compared to the stock thermaltake fan in my case, these DO put out alot more air.

I checked the stat's and btw, I used to live with a 92mm and 80mm tornado in my gateway, (not anymore, the 80mm died). So sound wise, I can stand the tornado's (55-65db!!!). But I also had sennheiser hd 500's with me, and that buffered 10-15 db's off it...).

So it's a good fan, Silverstone FM121:. However I was hoping for blue or green or orange, or whatever led's with similar power. However, I'd probably place that one down below with the psu/4x harddrive cage @ the bottom of my p180b case. (so the 4x750gb seagates won't heat up TO much, since they're mainly data based).

Any other suggestions?
