AMD 7870 Temps

Thread Starter
I recently upgraded my case with good cooling... I was hoping...

When I play battlefield 3 (most intensive game I have) my temps sore to about 73c.

is this anything to worry about? Should I get better cooling?

It certainly is on the high end, but nothing to worry about. It can easily survive another 10c.

73°C is nothing to worry about on air cooling, my 2 years old 6870 goes up to the same temp in the summer and runs fine. You forgot to mention what case you got, card model and room temp.
