Hey everyone. I have the 6950 atm, and I was looking into getting a dedicated PhysX card, but I would like to know if those two will be compatible, and how will it work.

Thanks! thumb.gif

It is a PITA and rarely worth the trouble.

It is compatible. Check out this thread (http://www.ngohq.com/graphic-cards/17706-hybrid-physx-mod-v1-03-v1-05ff.html). Hybrid PhysX can be cumbersome once in a while. But it works. If you would like to use physX for Borderland 2 or Mafia 2, they recommend gtx460 level card for physX. For other games gt9800 level card should be enough. I myself used to do hybrid physX with HD5970 and gtx460. It worked fine for Borderlands 2 in this setup. But I read that many struggled to setup hybrid physX for Borderlands 2.

Seems like a PITA to set it up on Hybrid. But with Nvidia it will work perfectly correct?

Correct. If you use Nvidia cards, physX works almost automatically. If you value physX, you should consider to get Nvidia cards next time you upgrade your cards.
