I'm sorry if this thread doesn't belong here but I have no idea where can I open one about this specific one.
So I wanted to know if my temps are fine or normal at least...

temperatures should be tested while under load to verify they dont exceed maximum. What CPU are you using?

You should click rig builder up in top right corner of screen and make your PC, then click your name in top right corner to go to your profile page and go down and add your rig to your signature. Makes it much easier to ask / answer questions biggrin.gif

Can also post cpu-z in pics.. Hwmonitor is also not used as much anymore most people use hwinfo64 because its updated much more often and has more up to date profiles:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

your temps look safe at the moment but i also dont see the temp for your CPU in the hwmonitor screen.. if its cput2n theres something wiggy going on.. try hwinfo64 and post results after loading up the cpu with a program like prime95 or IBT AVX:

prime95:

ibt avx on first page under additional software (NOT the original IBT):

(dont do anything crazy like run both at once I had someone do that once)

i5 3450 3.1GHz
and GTX460 - which I'm soon replacing with a GTX650 Boost Edition (another two months at least)
I know I should test it under load but as doing almost nothing but the interwerbz is supposed to be fine right?

yes your temps are within safe parameters. But this should still be tested under load to verify, if you plan on doing any gaming or video editing or anything heavy at all you would want to make sure.

Also i recommend not going with the 650ti boost if you can avoid it. Its not too bad of a card (see sig im using it). But I really wish i would have went for the HD 7850 or 7950. For around the same price you would be much happier. I personally sent my 650ti boost in literally today for RMA due to a loud buzzing noise coming from the card and very poor FPS working at the same level as my GTS 8600 from 10 years ago, very sad.

anyways either way if you get one that works right youll probably be happy but the HD's are better quality and overclock further.

people always telling me different things, although most of them said that the HD7850 is better(which is reasonable.)
