Help setting up 3 monitors with 1 graphics card (enabling onboard graphics card maybe?)

I've got a problem. I want to connect my TV in my living room, my main display on my desk, and a third display to the left of my main display to my computer. I do not want to game on all monitors using Eyefinity or other similar solutions. I only want to game on my main display while being able to browse on the display to the left of it.

My graphics card, MSI 770 Gaming, has 2 Dual DVI, 1 HDMI, and one display port connection.

So this is what I was thinking:
The main display is 2560x1440 so I connect that to the Gtx 770s Dual DVI connection.
The TV I connect to the Gtx 770s HDMI port.
For the third monitor I tried connecting it to the display port which did not work. I also tried connecting it to the last remaining dual DVI connection which also did not work.

After researching and googling I have come to the conclusion that for me to connect the last monitor I need an active adapter like this one.

But after thinking about this for awhile, it does seem like my bios/motherboard (MSI Z87-G45) allows me to enable the integrated graphics card at the same time as the gtx 770.

If I do enable the integrated graphics card, can I:

1) Connect the third monitor to the integrated graphic card/motherboard and then be able to use three screens without buying an active adapter?

2) If it is possible to do point 1, will enabling the integrated graphics card affect my computers performance when I'm playing heavy computer games?

Nvidia series graphics cards don't need to use the DisplayPort output. Can you use one DVI for your main monitor, one DVI for your second monitor, and the HDMI for your TV screen?

I tried that...

My smaller monitor's cable has HDMI connections on both ends. So I plugged it in on the smaller monitor's end and then on the computer end I attached a HDMI-DVI adapter/plug and plugged that into the second DVI on the graphics card.

It did not seem to work.

Edit: Sorry about that...it worked when I tried again - heh. Thanks.
