Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 question.

So should I install vcredist_x64.exe, vcredist_arm.exe, and vcredist_x86 or should I install one of them? If I should only install one of them which should I install?

Also, if I have to install all three, which order should I install them in? I'm on Windows 8 64 bit.

depends. is your processor x86, x64, or arm? LOL!

the AMD FX-6300 is an x64 (AMD64) processor, but as i was saying before, the application uses what it was programmed to use thumb.gif

edit: meaning, that your computer can use x86 or x64 based on the requirements of the application, but they should be installed by the application automatically. reinstall application from scratch first if you think this could be causing an issue.

Yeah, FX-6300. I noticed in my C-Drive there's a x86 Program files thing but nothing pertaining to x64.

Yeah I just installed the x64 version.

Yeah I just installed the x64 version.

in a x64 installation of windows, there are 2 program files folders

C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files (x86)

the one with nothing is for any 64 bit applications, the one with x86 is for any 32 bit applications biggrin.gif
