Can high temps make P95 fail?

Hi all

just recently testing my temperatures and I ran P95 on my 3770k at 4.9ghz, it was 12hrs p95 stable last time I ran it few months back, but now P95 has crashed after like 20 mins and I saw in realtemp temps got up to 99C.

Can high temps make P95 crash like this?

Higher temps can make a cpu require more vcore for stability. It usually takes a fair bit of temperature change but is possible, I tend to notice it on gpus more than cpus going from winter to summer, they just don't hit the same clocks in summer.

Much better...still needs work on though. I think I need to re-do my CL LP application and might put some more effort in on the cpu lap.
