Is my EVGA GTX 670 FTW dead?

Thread Starter

EDIT : I contacted EVGA's support and I am now RMAing the card. I'll update this thread when i'll receive a replacement.

Hi,

So I was playing The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot earlier and my computer crashed & rebooted. Now my card isnt detected by Presicion X nor by Nvidia's drivers anymore and Windows is telling me that there's an ''error code 43'' going on.

I've already reseated the card and reinstalled the drivers.

Is it dead? D:

Have you made any modifications or overclocked it at all?

Nope, but the power target was set to 145%.

I tested the card on another computer and had the same results. I got in touch with EVGA's support and I am now doing an RMA for the card.

I dont think it has to do with your power target; these FTW cards are supposed to OC well with its 680 PCB. I am at 200% power target with no problems.

It must be something else...
