Yep. DA:O wasn't anything special compared to BG2 for example, but why they had to dumb it down so much with DA2 and make it retarded is beyond me. If they want their games to be liked by little kids and not to bright ppl then they succeeded. I hope there will be demo for DA3 so that ppl can actually try it before buying. But seeing how he manually is dodging the dragon it will be just another horrible game.
Manual dodging makes me more invested into the moment to moment gameplay. In DA:O I never needed to give commands to my companions and my tactics rarely went beyond "run up, start clicking, nod off, wake up, move on." In DA2 the combat was intense on hard difficulty and I needed to constantly pause and give direction to my team all the while desperately waiting for my powers to recharge because there's 5 monsters bearing down on me and more just spawned in. Im loving the look of this combat and I'm pre-ordering as soon as i can.
