MSI FM2-A75MA-E35

Whats up guys, need a hand. I purchased this board and I'm trying to connect some old HDD to it (one is IDE with a SATA-IDE adapter, and the other is SATA)

When I plug both to the board, I see the SATA detected in the BIOS as 0.0GB and Windows doesn't see it. The other drive isn't visible anywhere.

I've got a brand new SSD plugged in and working. I wanted to keep the older drives for storage.

I set SATA controller mode to IDE.

Any ideas?

Bump, I got the old IDE HDD and DVD ROM working with these Vantec adapaters. They're pretty neat.

But the native SATA drive I have is being recognized as 0.0GB... I don't see why, I tested it in another machine and it seemed okay. Any ideas?
