Here is a builder made out of spare parts from my old system.

I need to get a graphics card and a PSU. This will be used for light to medium gaming, and everyday internet use.

Assuming you're in the United States:

XFX 550w ($56, not counting $10 rebate.)

Radeon 7950 ($220, not counting $20 rebate. Also, free games.)

Note the 7950 is ridiculously overkill for your purposes. But you didn't specify a budget, and with free games this card is a pretty darn good deal.

Edit:
You can get a 7770 or 7790 (significantly less powerful video cards) for $110 or $125. Comes with one game instead of two, apparently:

Agreed. That XFX 550 watt is maybe the best value power supply on the market right now. And if youre just doing light to medium gaming, a 7790 would be a good choice or maybe a 7850 for $150. A 7850 will play anything game out right now at 1920x1080 at pretty high settings.
