Thermaltake A30 Kryptek Hydrographics Gaming Build H100i

I was looking to build a smaller gaming PC and have always wanted to build one but never pulled the trigger. I was originally going to go with a Cooler Master HAF Half case but the size still seemed too big.

The biggest hurdle with the A30 was working out a layout for a radiator in the case. After getting the case and removing all of the parts and taking measurements the radiator will fit in the front of the case and I will PUSH out the front of the rad with high CFM 120mm x 25mm fans and there is just enough room to fit 120mm x 12mm fans in between the bracket and the front plastic cover. Having these lower CFM fans setup to do the PULL, I am not sure if they will even be helping or not but I will see. I figured something is better then anything.

We do Hydrograhics or Water Transfer at my shop and I though what the hell let's do up the case and see how it looks. I have all the pieces base coated and was able to get the front piece dipped to show where I cut out all the area for the ROMs. I figured with this being a gaming only PC I will only need a ROM to install if even that is needed, most can be downloaded via Steam or another client.

I have ordered the rest of the parts and they should be coming in next week, I should have the case finished by the time they get here.

Specs:

i7 4790k
ASUS TUF Griffon z97
16Gb GSikill Rip Jaws 2133 C9
Gigabyte G1 GTX 980
2x 500GB Samsung 850 Pro (Raid 0)
Corsair H100i
XFX Pro 850w

Thermaltake A30
Thermaltake A30

Duracoat Base
Duracoat base coat and prep.

Kryptek A30
Kryptek Highlander on the A30 front case cover, H100i will fit in case housing and blow out the cutout area after installing honeycomb grill.

CASE TEST FITTING

Got the case finished today an started to test fit of the radiator and fans, everything looks to be going as planned and next step is to install the components.

I was really surprised how well the first piece came out but honestly the next of the pieces are all flat and that should be really easy to dip.

Have you even dipped something ?

Nah, but after watching a ton of youtube videos it doesn't seem to hard. I will do plenty of testing first though!

That same Kryptek pattern in black and grey looks killer. I wanted to do Multicam really bad, but no one seems to have the film on hand... My z87 sabertooth armor would look pretty good in Multicam...

I get all my film from TWN, and I have multicam in stock.

Watching the videos it looks easy but it is far from it, the do it yourself kits work a lot easier then the professional grade kits. If you need help with it let me know.

All of the Kryptek are just bad ass, I'm trying to decide if I want to dip the TUF Armor as well and/or the video card cover.
