New pumpres system?

I got the XSPC 750 v4 pumpres along with my kit up and running tow days ago but I have done some research regarding noise and the design fault to do with this, So now I need help in finding a dual 5.25" pumpres with a D5 pump.

Thanks

Xspc has a dual bay d5 combo you can use, is your v4 not good?

Actually that dual D5 res is $250 and It probably won't do well with barbed fittings.

After 30 minutes of removing bubbles and topping off til it overflows, clicking sound is now almost gone biggrin.gif. Might not have filled it up properly but hey I'm new to WC.

Edit: these were 0.2mm bubbles and very hard to see further beyond that.

Edit: it's back again. So now I have put it on the floor covered until a new pumpres is bought. This is pretty disappointing pumpres either a design fault or poor quality parts or just happen to have the wrong one

Have you tried pulling the pump res out and holding it in your hand while it is running? That pump is fairly quiet but once it gets slid into a drive bay all the vibration is transferred into the chassis and amplified. Mcp-35x and d5 pumps are the exact same way. I had an Xspc dual DDC res and it was LOUD, have a d5 single Xspc res and its LOUD. Also have a Xspc DDC Restop and if the pump is resting on metal or plastic it is loud.

The pump must be decoupled from the computer case... Problem is that a bay res is the opposite of decoupling,

All is not lost if that is the actual problem with your setup. You can use foam tape to make sure where the res touches metal it is insulated a bit to dampen the vibrations. Lots of other ways to fix it as well.

The pump itself is very noisy until every bit of air is out of the system, if the sound goes away and then comes back you may have bumped the computer causing an air bubble in the radiator to come out. As soon as a bubble hits the impeller it is turned into bunches of tiny bubbles and those eventually get to the top of the reservoir.

It sometimes can take 2 days for all those bubbles to be gone. Keep shaking and tilting the PC,

Actually I can't take it out due to short tubes but I do notice the sound coming from inside the res, probably the impeller as you said. Should I run this without the cap on in order for it to bleed?
