Can you help me decide?

I am trying to decide between these two Lenevo laptops.

Lenevo Y410P
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y-series/

and the Lenevo Z580
http://www.costco.com/.product.783573.html

The Y410P is 1.6" smaller and does not have the 10key (no 10key is kind of a plus for me)
It has a 4th gen quad core compared to the 3rd gen dual core
The Y410P also has a GTX 750 built in.

I will be installing windows 7 as soon as I get it with an SSD.

It is about a $200 price difference. It's main use will be for school and microsoft office. It may see some light use with photoshop and lightroom since I use my desktop for photo editing mainly. I may also use it to play games once and awhile (TF2 and Gary's Mod). I already know these games run at a fairly constant 60fps on Intel HD 4000 with low settings. So the built in GPU would be a plus, but is not a major selling point for me. I also don't really travel so I would be at home with it 99% of the time. It is just nice being able to relax sometimes while doing school work.

What do you guys think?

ALSO: I have tried the touchpad without buttons and hated it... but is this just something that you have to get used to? Seems most laptops have it now.

Thank you in advance!

For everything you want it for the cheaper Ideapad would run fine, not to mention you'll save a nice amount of money. If you have a desktop at home and you will be at home 99% of the time then there's not much point in paying more for the discrete graphics card since you can just hop onto your desktop when you want to play games. Also I personally find a 14" screen to be a bit too small unless you are travelling around a lot, but I guess it's all down to preference. Get whichever you like the look of best and is most appealing; if the Y410P is $200 more appealing to you then go for it smile.gif

Well I purchased the y510p with the 1080p screen. The total came out to about $940. However, now I have noticed this other brand, "Sager". They have a model Sager NP7352 which has a faster GPU and it actually has 2 buttons under the track pad. I am wondering if the 2 buttons alone wont be worth an extra hundred bucks...... -_- That is the only thing I hate about newer laptops... lots of them dont have the buttons anymore.
