best fps mouse ? Help! - Page 3

Excuse me but the better mouse of FPS is not from ever the Steelseries SENSEI ? thinking.gifthinking.gifthinking.gif

More DPI
Much more regulations than all other mice all over the world
Internal Driver ( possible driverless mode in Windows )
Metal surface ( or not ? )

Is it not the King ?

More DPI is not always better. It depends on the player but 10k dpi is a bit crazy. Anyways some pro gamers (for example) use 6000+ dpi and some 700 dpi.
Most Regulations are not that important
The G500 has an own storage and works the same. It remembers the dpi even without driver.
why is metal always better?

Personally I dont like the sensei. The G400 works better for me. Its much more simple but it doesn´t really matter for me.
And as other say it depends of the gamer and how comfortable the sensei is. I think there is no mice that works for everyone well and so there are many many different mices..which isnt that bad.

lol, must be troll.

dpi is only sensitivity, has nothing to do with accuracy. Those "regulations" (I guess you mean exact accel, exact aim and such) are pretty much worthless imo, because whatever settings it may have, the accel will still be slightly random. Exact lift might be nice, but that's about it. And there are more mice with the A9500/9800 that have this feature.
The surface is only painted with metallic coating, scratch that off and it's only plastic under it.

It's a good/ok mouse, but "best" is very subjective.

no way, I have gone through 3 RAT 7's and the laser system that they use is quite bugged. the dual laser system that they use for the X and Y axis is bugged. During a gaming session one of the lasers would glitch and i could only look up and down but not left and right until i lifted the mouse off the pad and set it back down....all 3 of them do that. They are paperweights in my drawer right now.

I have since then picked up a Logitech G700S and good lord why didn't I do this sooner! Right now its $75 at tiger direct ((i just got back from the local store))

I use it only for FPS and while the side buttons are mushy and dont feel quite as good as the left and right clock I do like them because I can bind all kinds of things to them...... like the quick switch when you get revived in BF3 so you get rezed with your primary out is quite useful.

The WIreless is as good as the wired and I was amazed...i NEVER liked wireless mice until i picked this one up and gave it a shot. Logitech's software is rock solid as well with being able to map different macros as well as having i think like 4 different profiles.

It all really boils down to what feels best for you. No one mouse is "better" then the other at FPS games

Yes. Comfort then performance. G400S for example is best mouse out right now in my opinion, but I get cramps after 10 minutes of trying to game with it so it's completely useless for me.

I won't do any direct quotes or drop any names but I have to LOL @ the amount of people who just regurgitate information and other people's opinions like it's fact. Yeah sure Razer for example has major QC issues I'd definitely chime in on; but to go and say "z0mGZ l1k3 ph1l1pz tw1/\/ i iz so bugged bcuz Z axis!!!11" is complete malarkey.

Maybe I just feel that way about the subject matter because I don't throw my mouse halfway across the room to move 0.2CM on Screen rolleyes.gif

Thanks so much for you help and opinions guys!

I am thinking of getting the g400s as it seems to be best for fps..

I just used a m950 on my other computer paired with a logitech g510, and it feels so much better than my current $20 keyboard and mouse..

I played Counter strike with them and this improved my aiming out of sight!

Is the logitech G400S similarly shaped to the M950/better ?
