Titan SLI WC Fan connection question

Hi,

this may be a real noob question, first time water cooling graphics cards.

What should I do about the radiator fans on the GPU loop? I assumed I could use a Y adapter and plug it into the fan header on the graphics card. Not the case I discovered. Should I just use the Opt Fan headers on the motherboard and set fan speeds there?

Thanks in advance for your help.

that build looks awesome buddy, loving the pink and green combo.

as for your question. the gpu fan headers are smaller than normal ones (im sure you have found that out). i would like to point you to this (http://www.overclock.net/t/1411425/help-me-cool-my-corsair-540/0_20) thread and in particular post #4 from doyll that explains how to use your header on gpu to control fans and also offers up another solution.

Thanks BranField, just the thread im looking for. Got them both running at a cool 27c with the fans on the Cha Fan headers. But it would be nice to get them to work dynamically.

well i suppose you could try using a programme called speedfan. its meant to be a good fan controlling software. Its a bit complex but im sure you can find a vid tutorial on youtube or something.

its a great colour scheme. far too many people are doing the typical ROG black and red theme these days. i am planning to do an orange and black theme at some point when money starts to flow a bit better lol.
