*i did one's*
i had asrock 970 extreme 4 with one 80mm fan one VRM and one 40mm on NB
then i sended my mobo to warranty (1394 chip melted, almost immediadly when i was bought it (i sav that on june 2012)
i bought msi 760 to my second mobo
and now, i have my asrock back (3.8Ghz 1.45V x4)
and msi is gouing with phenom II 545 x2@x4 when i get graphics card.
Byt hey,thanks you remembered me, i have to chance my motherboard information smile.gif

For a reference my 910 needs almost 1.4V for 3.3 GHz.
Although That may be stymied by the fact that I am overclocking on one of the worst MBs you can oc on.

i know your feel, but my friend reached 3.8Ghz with that motherboard non-FX version (CPU was if i remember right, phenom II 945)
but, it's that 40€'s asrock what you can use with athlon 64 and latest 95W fx-prosessor
asrock, it make's so weard mobo's that you are so impressed that wink.gif

I used an 880G ASRock before my current Asus motherboard.I ran it up to 4.2GHz X6 @1.5v for 2 years before a fly landed on a transistor under full-load and shorted it in a puff of smoke and smell of frying insect. mad.gif Was a good board. Definitely had to have air on the VRM heatsink though.
