lol yep no need i really seeing it as a bad thing and could deter new users that might start folding cause they see it as 2 days and then like it and keep folding compared to looking at 7 days and thinking thats to long i will pass and never giving it a chance.

I see an opportunity to get more people involved in folding more frequently via an easy contest to administer. We need to catch up with certain teams, and quit accepting losing! You all see it the wrong way :p

Oh, and I never forget the cures!

Oh, and I never forget the cures!

It's a fine line. A lot of gamers will chip-in to the FAT for the two days a month with their system. The added interest by these individuals is HUGE and a great addition to our team and cause. Push it too much longer and they may pass due to the commitment of not gaming for extended periods of time. My position still stands to keep the events brief. We could extend to three or four days, but past that I do think a large portion of people will forgo the event as it's just too long. I put up my workstation to the FAT's for two days and just work off my laptop (oh what a pain that is...) but it's just two days and I can cope with the loss in productivity. I'm all about boosting our team's output, but I feel re-structuring the FAT to a long-duration event might hinder the long-run.

Thing with that is we have alot that fold just for prizes if you want to extend it you will need to add alot more prizes to get more folders and for them to fold longer also . Alot fold for the cure but we all know we have a huge amount that do it for chance to win a prize. And also you alienate those that cant fold for more then a few days because of heat/electric or school and they might not fold at all. Maybe have random contests each month with a differt goals for the team to try to get new folders to stay on the team.
