Will Sonnet Technologies bottleneck my SSDs?

Unfortunately I was impatient with my x79 build and bought all parts the day of release,. My 3930k is still overkill and doing great, but I'm stuck with very few Sata 6gb ports considering there is marvel that I refuse to use:

On a positive note I have lot's of PCIe slots, so now my plan is to purchase two 256 or 500gb samsung ssds and Raid them:

I'm aware multiples small ssds are better, but my mobo is limiting. I'm still doing research, as of now I don't think there are any bottlenecks with the ssd adaptors.

Let me know your thoughts, thanks!
