Trouble with 3 monitors

Thread Starter 
So i am currently running a 6850 and want a 3-monitor experience
I have 2 1080p displays and a 1680 X 1050 display.
One 1080p one is connected via DVI-DP
The 1680 X 1050 is connnected via HDMI
The other 1080p one is VGA
The 1680 X 1050 HDMI one is blank and not being recognized
Help?

First you need an active adapter from dp to dvi. Also you have different resolutions on your monitors. And last your gpu is way to entry-range to handle 3 monitors except if you just want the space.

I have the startech active DP-DVI cable, and i know i can support the 3 monitors.

If you have one active adapter, it should work - have you tried unplugging them except the DP->DVI monitor? Sometimes they can act wonky, is the adapter powered via an external usb?

for 3 monitors they dont need to be the same resolution, unless you want to run eyefinity (i think)

Actually, now that i set up eyefinity, one of my 1080p displays is showing a 1-inch border. Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?
