In general should I use Low FSB (below the stock) or High FSB when OC the Memory?
My CPU and memory below.

I go for an extra 3-6Mhz on my 3930K, the only time I decrease is when using a 125strap and want to run at 2310 or so, about the max before I have to go from CL9 to 10.

It should not make much difference, but I am guessing that whatever small difference there may be would favor higher clock.

*G.SKILL Trident+ Turbulence II 12GB (3 x 4GB) F3-12800CL7T-12GBTDD @1600 (7-8-7-24 1.60v)
You can try either way but most of the time try OC'ing by multi first then attempt for below-stock FSB thumb.gif

Those of my chips likes tighter timing but not higher DRAM frequencies somehow. At 1866 , the timing has to be raised to 9-9-9-24 and the performance is worse. Any suggestions?
