H100i on a Maximus VI Formula

Guys, would it be possible to connect the H100i to the CPU then to the Maximus vi formula and back to the radiator?
elaborate. what are you trying to do?

the H100i is a closed loop cooler, if i understand your question, you want to add another block to the loop?
it can probably be done, but would be more effort than just buying the pieces to do a full custom loop

Nope. Unless you take the H100i apart and mod it, even then I dont know how well it would perform/ if it could even be done.

Yes, that's what I meant. To mod it, add another tube to connect the vrm to the cpu component and WC them both.... Otherwise I'll just buy the Noctua NH-D14 instead...

you would have to mod it, and even then i would have to suggest not doing it as the waterblock on the formula is made of aluminum and would cause galvanic corrosion after a while of being in contact with the water passing over the copper h100 block.

The H100i also has a very weak pump. I don't know that it would hold up to the additional components to cool.

this. you're going to do more harm than good. and as someone before has said, the vrm liquid pass through is made of aluminum.
