Here's how it all started. From Performance-PC somelights fans, cables, switch and mobo tray.
Then I stripped the case and mounted the switches between the ODD ad FDD and cut a piece of angle to support the mobo tray. It is longer and wider than the oother one so I remounted the PSU beside the tray to make changing out easier.
These switches are sooooo nice... I still need to wire up the LEDs to the power and HDD and Phase....and I need to tidy up the drive install on the top rails--but that will happen on another rainy day.
Here I am working out the placement of everything . I have the 2 CCL tubes mounted and am working out the placement of the controller. The HDD cage is pop riveted over the 80mm fan on the backplane. I will eventually upgrade that fan from 80mm to 92mm and use an Antec Red Tricool to match the case.
These are the lit SATA cables--they have white-sheathed leads going to controllers.
Here's the tray all wired up. I am fitting the mob to see where I will hav to cut out the back for the Phase backing plate. Burn mentioned how hard it is to fit a prpped mobo on a Lian Li tray. This is true. But a slight angle to the backplane is not gonna hurt anything--and once I tighten the phase head it squishes pretty good.
Ready for some action. That was fun.
