Watercooling a TJ07

Thread Starter
Im looking into watercooling my Silverstone TJ07, just CPU and GPU, it'll be my first venture into WC'ing but i've read alot and i've sorta got an idea of what i'm looking for, just need some other opinions etc on this =)

Best pic I have ---> http://www.espionix.com/random/tj072.jpg

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump - £46.10
ThermoChill PA120.3 - £56.99
Swiftech Storm CPU Water Block - £52.29
Alphacool 5.25" Reservoir Black (no LED) - £25.99

GPU WATERBLOCK-?
FANS - ?
TUBING - ?

Silence is a big thing for me, i'm also looking for a good CPU overclock, GPU i'm not as fussed about, but my X2 4400 runs real hot right now.

Any suggestions?

Cheers!

get panaflo 120x120x38mm fans for the rad, also fstfrddy, a person here, makes better waterblocks than anything retail, and for tubing, get 7/16" danger den tubing, and a maze4 gpu waterblock

Edit: ira-k is pretty much the WC master, id ask him

Sweet case, should be easy to do.

Firstly, pump choice is good, but I'll recommend another block. Get the Apogee instead, I've heard it's better.

For the GPU block, get a Koozah.

I cannot suggest tubing or fans though, else I don't see anything wrong with your setup.
Let the rest of it stick to the WC experts

Looks good so far..

GPU...The Maze 5 from Danger Den is the newest...Heard it performs well

Fans, pending on what you want, just look at airflow compared to dBa...That's up to you on what you get.

Tubing, go with Tygon 1/2" ID

Thanks alot! Quick replies!

Koosah is over twice the price of the Maze4/5, (£35->£90is it worth the extra for my 7900GTO?

Apogee sounds good though, alot cheaper aswell, it work well with the D5 and the 120.3 then?

EDIT: so,

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump - £46.10
ThermoChill PA120.3 - £56.99
Swiftech Apogee CPU Water Block - £29.99
Alphacool 5.25" Reservoir Black (no LED) - £25.99
DangerDen Koosah for 7900 - £77(Imported)
6' x Tygon 1/2" ID
FANS - 3 low CFM ones for the 120.3? im not sure

You're not need to overclock your GPU very much you said, and the Koosah...just add ram sinks over your RAM and you're fine...seriously.

I'd save the money and go with a Maze 5...but that's my opinion

and for your waterblock, you should seriously consider Fstfrddys stinger standard, 75$ USD, some one just did a test and the stinger beat the apogee by a decent amount

Personally, I'd get a Core 2 Duo/Quad and then keep your air cooling. Or get a WB that is S939 and LGA775 so when/if you upgrade you don't need to change your WC setup. Nice case, by the way. I was thinking of getting that and mounting a 2x120mm radiator over the HDD bays.
