No support for Mac OSX, but can I still stream samples for music purposes?

Can I still format as mac journaled or exfat and stream samples from it?

I use a music program called cubase, and I stream instruments such as violins/pianos/cellos from my crucial m4s to cubase. I am solely reading, never writing.

Thanks!

yea, just think of a SSD as just a fast HDD.

I know what they are, my question is will my mac be able to read it as an internal storage drive.

Why wouldn't it? If you have it plugged in internally it will be detected as such...

It says there is no OSX support and many people are upset about it, but I'm unsure if that's just for installling the operating system onto the ssd itself.

what says that? M4s work in Macs.
