HELP - Recently installed Geforce GPU is running hotter than usual

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong subforum!
Im just a tad stressed out why my temperatures are a little high.

I was playing need for speed most wanted, and after an hour I finished playing, I checked my temps and the gpu was a bit high for not running nay games.

I had a shower and decded to shut down my computer because of the varying high temps. Came back and not running any games the temps are the same after 20 minutes

I live in Australia, Melboourne. The weather is near 20 degrees celsius, but it feels a bit hotter in my room. Maybe because of my computer LOL
My computer is the Thermaltake Overseer
I am running ai7-3770k with stock heatsink and a GTX660ti 2GB SC gigiabyte.

Yes I recently installed the Geforce program for some reasom.........should I uninstall it?

Could be the driver update - although i didn't see anyone else complaining about this... yet.
My laptop suddenly had high temps for GPU and CPU... after i formatted, they went down from 65C (idle) to 35C idle!!!
I guess i had some malicious software, or something, using my resources... this is the only thing i can think of.
Maybe something similar is happening with you?

Do you use evga precision or afterburner....? Just want to know if you use any other programs to monitor your temps....Sometimes some programs give bad temp reads, and whats your fan profile set to....?
