Out of natural habit, I don't shutdown my PC right away after long gaming sessions anyway. However, if you're genuinely concerned use Windows key + R (or Start menu and choose Run) and type in the command:

shutdown -f -t 300

Now you don't need to sit in front of your PC, and wait. wink.gif
