new HAF XB owner with a few quick questions

Hi!

After a few days with pcpartpicker and google I've decided on the HAF XB case. It was only today that I came upon this thread. Normally I would read an entire thread before posting, learning what I can, but with 480 pages (and a toddler) I hope you'll forgive me. While I started researching a new build two weeks ago, my own pc died last night and from storage I'm using an Athlon XP 1.09GHz with 1GB ram and it's painfully slow, even with a new, clean, Vista install, so my patience is a little thin...

I'm not much of a gamer anymore (reference the toddler). Almost all my computer time is in word processing, spreadsheets, and chrome. Lots of flash gaming (kongregate). At this point the only game I absolutely know I'm going to play is Diablo 3 and it's not much of a resourse hog.

I love the idea of the HAF XB. I've got a 7950 Twin Frozr and it's fracking heavy, especially compared to what I'm used to. I'd be concerned with that card vertical and what happens to that weight in a few years. Having the mobo horizontal is like the old days, the early 1990's, when almost every computer was a desktop. While other cases have horizontal motherboards, it's the segregation of hardware, and front usb 3.0 ports, that finally helped me choose.

Anyway, this is my build so far:
Intel i5-4430 3.0GHz
Noctua NH-L12 37.8 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD (already have)
MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr 3GB Video Card (already have)
Cooler Master HAF XB (Black) ATX Desktop Case
Corsair CX 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified

My questions really revolve (no pun intended...well, maybe a little) around cooling.

If I understand what CM says, the case comes with two front 120mm fans which could be replaced with two 140mm's. Also, one could add one 120mm and two 80mm fans in the back and one 200mm fan on top.

I know that the top mesh could be replaced with a window but I don't know if the window comes with the case or has to be bought separately. Does the window come with the case?

Regarding the Noctua... While I'm fairly certain it'll fit in the case, I really don't think I'll like the way it *looks*. I'm guessing if the 200mm is installed the Noctua won't fit in its tallest position.

So, does anyone have any cooler suggestions?

Are the stock 120mm's quiet or really quiet?

Thanks!

Paul

This was supposed to be in the [Official] Cooler Master HAF-XB Club! thread.

I Blame the toddler...

Don't bother with a 200mm on top, its pretty much proven that there will be no difference in temperature.

The stock fans have some volume, but that's because there is no isolation, the case is very open.

The window is bought separate

Usually if you want quiet and cool, most HAF XB owners got an H100i and stuck it in the front like l did.

If you want something quiet you'd have to look elsewhere, there is pretty much no isolation in these parts. If you want something quiet the R4 is a more popular choice.
