You basically just tell the PSU hey turn on. I've seen the 20+4 plug with the 1 jumper on it as well... Somewhere....

You would have to turn it on and manually though.

Usually its the green and black you have to jump. (( god forbid your psu has a different design )) but it should work 90% of the time.
