Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1a

Is this still in production?

If not, what is its successor?

Aa far as I am informed, MS discontinued their classical "gaming" mice such as WMO 1.1, IMO 1.1 and IE 3.0.

Here in germany you can still get some on amazon - for about 100 euro.

There is no successor, though.

Successor is comfort mouse 3000, though it's not a dual purpose mouse much like the original WMO 1.1... More office oriented as intended.

The Comfort mouse 6000, 4500, 3000 effectively replaced the old Intellimouse explorer 3.0, Intellimouse Optical, and Wheel mouse optical on store shelves.

I suspected so.

That sucks.

I've got one of these. Is this what we're referring to or am I totally mistaken?
