Naw, PS4 will win the battle. All the way.
it's a bump in performance for gamers.....you can spin it however you'd like.
What's also new to us is the 8gb of NAND memory. Who know what that'll be used for!
I doubt that XB1 has a chance if only because of Microsoft's blunders early on and Sony basing their marketing campaign on those screw-ups. Hardware has a place in a competition, but features are first for sure. The 8GB of NAND is news to me, and I bet that'll be used as an HDD cache, sort of like the hybrid drives that only Seagate makes (after all this time, though WD is introducing a 5mm 500GB SSHD soon). Alternatively it will be used as a page file, but NAND wears out over time and more RAM wouldn't be much more expensive for production.
As for heating issues, I'm more worried about PS4 burning up. The thing's barely bigger than a Wii and has an internal PSU. If nothing in there melts, I will be amazed. Microsoft has made an effort to not have another RRoD issue by having huge fans in a spacious, airflow-friendly case. I'm sure it can handle a slight overclock.

By all means, please enlighten all of us TechHeads as to how the XBO is TWICE as fast as the PS4.
Just do your research!
Burden of proof falls on you, buddy. Evidence points to the PS4 having superior hardware, and since Microsoft has defended XB1 by saying hardware doesn't matter, that implies we know all there is to, and that PS4 has better specs. (And no, you're not being sarcastic. If there are no non-verbal cues to indicate it, it isn't sarcasm. Text-based communication is the worst possible way to convey that.)
