Thread Starter
I just purchased

what are the benefits to using a 4 pin molex connector for my fan as apposed to using the 3pin? will i get more power from them?
ill be using these fans on it

they come with a 4 pin molex adapter with another opening at the other end of it so you can continue to use the molex adapter for other things. my question is, can i connect the 4 pin molex adapter from the fan and then connect the molex adapter from the FC-HUMMER into the other side of that molex adapter? so it;ll look like 3 molex adapters all attached to each other.

yes you can no problem. The only difference is the power goes through the motherboard vs directly from the psu. The only time this usually matters is when you need fan speed control or are using the mobo to monitor fan rpms. Otherwise the molex will work just as good. All preference really
