You said Crysis 3 was running fine, so my guess is that the driver isnt optimised for BF3 in SLI...

It's been said a thousand times before, CPU is the limiting factor in BF3 MP... And no matter how fast your CPU is it will still be the limiting factor.
Crysis is not a CPU heavy game, that's why you see max GPU usage in pretty much every single player game and other simple mp games.

Arma 2 and 3 are another good example of CPU heavy games.
Anyone claiming constant full GPU usage in BF3 MP with high-end SLI/CFX cards is full of it.

Perhaps my cards were just too severely throttled since the top 780 would always hit 80c before I put in a very aggressive fan curve. I upped my memory to 2400 from 1600 and did a super clean driver reinstall, now my fps doesn't dip below 100 much except for maybe a couple of seconds every now and then. The fps graph from evga precision has way less oscillation now and mostly goes over 100.

Don't really what in particular improved my situation but I'm just glad my fps has improved. Looking at that one location on the same full server I'm getting 70+ fps instead of low 60.

Tbh those cq maps are the best to test the and gpu usage... u get tight fighting scenes that strees the cpu a lot... i have to say that my FX8150 + HD7950 in cpu iis always arround 70-85 usage, and gpu it goes between 60-88

FIXED! Somehow...

I reinstalled windows and didn't install ai suite 3 nor the mobo sound drivers and now my gpu usage never goes below 68 and usually going around 80! Getting amazing 130 frames in the same spot where I used to get 80. I'm now never dropping below 100 fps.

Honestly I had the same issues but I really don't care all too much since BF3 won't be seeing much of my computer again. With BF4 release coming out and how stale BF3 is, I just hope they come out with drivers that don't suck for BF4.

I monitor my CPU and it doesn't get pushed above 65% either, overclocking further yielded the same results.
