GPU uses smaller PWM plug so need something similar to this. In picture is a custom splitter, PSU power and rpm adapter to run a PWM case fan on same PWM signal as GPU/ On the left are the mini-male and female connecters for GPU fan. Bottom middle is molex plug to plug into PSU. Top middle is PWM case fan socket. Right is rpm signal lead from case fan to plug into motherboard so you can monitor case fan speed. Only cables visible are from GPU fans and rpm lead going to mobo.. everything else is out of sight behind mobo.
There are some adapters available out there, just be sure it has the right plug to go into GPU PCB header. I haven't used it but this looks like the beast.
Mini-PWM splitter to Mini PWM & normal PWM sockets. It has rpm leads from both GPU PWM and normal PWM sockets.
And use a 4-way PWM splitter with molex power connector. This is a good splitter made by GeLid.
I suggest removing the rpm lead from normal PWM socket or 4-way splitter master plug. Sometimes supplying both rpm signals to PWM header will confuse PWM as to what actual rpm is.Edited by doyll - 9/4/13 at 1:32pm
