Don't software with FX platform boards report CPU temp as CPU Tj-minus ambient temp? Or something like that

27*C average idle isn't bad by any means and I'm willing to bet that 17*C wasn't accurate or happened in the winter with the windows open...or something like that.

Just to verify you have it hooked up correctly, take a look at the pic below. Liquid should be flowing into and out of the block the way the arrows are pointing. Be sure you have your in and out oriented correctly coming out of the reservoir as well.


Sorry i didnt see your post.. yes it is setup like that. i have an overclocking guide up on my phone going to start trying to push 5ghz smile.gif ill report back soon with temps. thanks for your help guys and wish me luck tongue.gif

Currently stress testing 4.7ghz @ 1.3v getting around 51c under 100'c load smile.gif once i have it at 5 imma leave it for 6 hours smile.gif looking good guys! seems it was me worrying over nothing

i am very confused now.. the computer has had its side panel off. its been in a room with no windows open during the day, curtains closed. ive come in, opend the curtains and windows and booted it and these are my temps idle :/ if the 17c temps were wrong, perhaps these are too, in which case, perhaps my oc load temps are wrong too? what temp monitoring program do you use? :S
