Overclocking x4 630, why can't go over 240? - Page 2

cpu vcore at full load is only 1.328
I think you need to increase vcore to at least 1.39 if you want 250 fsb.

I have an Athlon X3 455 3.3ghz stock.
I unlocked it to quadcore and its cpu vcore became 1.39 at full load 3.3ghz.

i saw a thread that you could unlock the X4 630 to maybe a Phenom II with L3 Cache. .. why dont you try that!

See first photo on first post.
I can't boot with more overvoltage than your :-(

Already tried, I can unlock but system is terrible unstable also raising voltage

How about a different approach.

Run memtest86 at the higher ref clock, and see if the ram is in fact stable. Based on the numbers, I think it likely is. Memtest should help resolve that issue though.

I think the problem is your cpu vcore. You say you can't boot with more voltage than that? Are you using the stock CPU cooler? Your load temps are already getting pretty high, and its possible your cooling just isn't up to keeping an overvolted processor cooled.

Good luck smile.gif.
