3770k Delta min temp high?

Hi all,

My 3770k will only get to a max stable oc at 4.3GHz at 1.28v. 4,4GHz needed to be >1.34v but then the temps go off the scale (>95degs) with P95 testing.

I have noticed that the cores have a fairly asymmetrical temp reading at idle (or min temp).

I've added a pic of the readings from CPUZ, Coretemp and P95 when I'd just started testing out the chip at 3.9GHz at 1.1v. Look at the temps. They are pretty high. The max temps are due to the radiator fans not being positioned correctly. I've sorted this out now so the max temps aren't too bad, but look at the spread of the min temps.

Is this a reason for RMA?

Just in case it's not very clear, core 0 = 36, core 1 = 34, core 2 = 32 and core 3 = 42.

Thats a spread at idle of 10degs.

Spoke to Intel via Chat today and they are going to replace my 3770k. Awesome.

Just waiting for the UK people to get in touch and hopefully I can get myself a better performing chip!
