Those who have no clue, or not the past knowledge of will always respond like they do.
When in fact, I speak about FACT. Have not stepped away from that fact, nor clamed anything more than that fact.
It is a fact, that moAr hz is better.
You know this, yet trolled this whole thread, only because you can't let go of your IPS belief, that "for you..." doesn't mean for everybody. And that it was your opinion. But your opinion, cannot trump fact!
There is no ego here, I think u sense that. It's semantical now, because your using a forum tactic of attacking me, not rebuttalling me. I am not a troll, though I occasional sniff them out..
I don't mean to thread jack here & I am sorry for that, but who cares about colors (or any points your argue about) in a gaming monitor thread @ 144hz ..? I don't get it.
Ups Sorry I just saw the rest of your message now.
60hz does not make everyone worse. There is no such thing. At the end of the day it is all about how you play the game. How smart you are while playing it and how concentrated you are. OF COUSE 120hz will make a difference in smoothness and when it is smoother people might feel more comfortable at playing. There is no denying that, but again 60hz is not like 10hz or so where the game stutters and you can't aim at all.
I know CRT is amazing but we are past that era. Even the fastest TN panel with lightboost technology is not as great as CRT. It is close though.
Trust me. There are folks out there, whom can only play games at 45 fps in average but will own the battlefield. At the end of the day, it is about how YOU play the game. Faster monitor, better mouse, and stuff like that surely will help.
I am an OK player in battlefield and I truly enjoyed 120hz gaming with my Acer and Asus monitors.
More HZ is better sure but who knows maybe some folks like me concentrate on the game better with better colors and better resolution which makes the game look more realistic and this helps me play better.
I never trolled the thread. Please tell me a specific spot where I trolled the thread. Again, you speak COMPLETE nonsense. And you have a different agenda.
I am not attacking you, you are attacking me and if you can sniff trolls than you had to sniff yourself better. No offense.
Who cares abot colors? Wow man. Ok. Go back and play with black and white if noone cares about colors. Also conversation brings up more conversation and I was not the person who started IPS conversation and better colors in this thread.
Again, read and THAN comment please.
Edit : To this date I have never said 120hz or 144 hz is bad. I even said it is smoother in online FPS gaming. I said it maybe 10 times. If you can not understand it and attack me for praising IPS than who is the troll here? I love people who claim IPS monitors are not meant for gaming. I am 100% against this idea and will challange those people all the time. That being said let me repeat 100th time that TN monitors at 120hz or even at 144hz are SMOOTHER than any IPS panels known to man BUT they will not magically make you a competitive top tier player. It is all about you at the end.
Edit 2: Now IF the IPS panels were as bad as some of the TVs out there such as my 8 Series Samsung TV with incredily bad response time and input lag than I would agree with you. But current IPS monitors are doing a great job in gaming. Gaming is not a profession for me and its a hobby where I love to get the best looks possible. But everyone's hobby might differ.
