120Hz does make me a better player, I can point out many instances where the increased motion clarity helped me gain a kill over a 60Hz user. It is a large advantage in FPS games. And you play with an FPS cap and claim not to notice input lag? FPS caps are a huge no-no in FPS games, it doesn't matter what you use, there's input lag from an FPS cap. And yes, there are 27" 1080p monitors, but 23-24" is the standard. You only gain 13PPI by switching from 1080p to 2560x1440P if you take a standard 1080p monitor and a standard 27" 1440p monitor. The PPI difference is negligible, the only thing you'll really notice is how much more screen real estate you have on a 1440p monitor, but for the price of a good 1440p (not one of those Korean Panels) you can buy a 120Hz monitor and 2 1080p monitors to use on the side, so that makes the screen real estate argument null and void. I seriously don't know how you can switch from the motion clarity of a TN and go to an IPS simply because you think it has better colors.
It MADE you a better player but you can not speak for everybody can you?
Maybe if you put a machine it can find the input lag while FPS limiting, but I am doing just fine, hence the reason I'm saying that I AM THE SAME PLAYER with a 120hz TN panel or a 60hz IPS panel.
Price debate is ridicolous. Now all of a sudden the conversation shifted to price? Also I never made such an argument.
You DONT have to understand my reasons for the switch. Because we are not the same people. Why is it so hard to understand?
I am here in this thread DEFENDİNG 120HZ TN players as well as defending IPS players and monitors but for some reason, just because I say IPS monitor is fine, I am being a target by TN lovers which absolutely trash the entire IPS technology just because it is not their personal preference.
Can you guys please make a more intelligent argument than that?
I have YET to bash 120hz TN panels, YET to bash people using it. Come on guys. I said I prefer 1440p IPS over it. Which means I, which means iARDAs and never ever tried to convince people otherwise. And before responding me go ahead and read this thread
