then when they burned the (expletive deleted) house down they said "hey this isn't profitable cause WE broke it"
lets FIX this and make the price go back up.
collusion is the most obvious thing that has happened.
and it's not the first time they have done it. as was posted a couple posts back, they've done it before you better believe they'd do it again
all conjecture... but hey it's the most plausible.
Huh? Have you ever heard the term, "Price War"? That's what flooded the market. Well, that on top of mistaken sales projections. Basically, too much was made to be sold, so products are offloaded at a lower price.
I'm not saying no one is to blame, that's laughable. But mistakes are made in production quantities all the time, that's not what we are discussing. The problem comes that now that prices are back up to profitable levels, people are crying fowl.
In the end, those of us that bought while prices were low, (especially Q4 '12), got lucky. That, or did the research and realized that prices were only going to come back up at some point. That's what I did, and I'm happy with it. Those that didn't, and are buying now simply burned themselves by not buying sooner and underpaying.
Get aggitated all you want, but the prices aren't going anywere in the down direction any time soon. This is because companies are in the business of profit, but I've said that several times already.
