Dominic252,

I installed the H80i on my FT02 case without issues. Intel® Core™ i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz × 8

However, I cannot install the H80i software, as I have Ubuntu Linux and the software is for Windows Onlyl.

What I have noticed is the pump varies in speed based on how hot the cpu is, without me specifying anything.

Once the temp is over 50C the pump goes faster and the temps fall. If you noticed the cpu I have, you will also note that I did NOT overclock.

The beauty of this CPU is when I am converting video files, it never goes to 100Pct usage of the cpus. First time I have had that 'pleasure'.

The i7-3820 runs hotter than all the other CPUs I have had, typically about 38C at idle. However, once under a load like converting an ISO of a dvd to an MKV file, it gets up to 87Pct usage, and the temps rise.

The H80i, without 'help' from me, cools the cpu to less than 50C, and I appreciate it.

It is my first experience with water cooling, and it has been a good experience.

Best regards, AraiBob

Thanks for the contribution! I noticed my idle temps are around that too. I thought that was an issue, but I've read ivy bridge kind of runs hot
