Your final Valley score will depend on Quality and AA settings you use for the test.

Using the following settings;

Quality = Ultra
AA = 8X

You should be scoring somewhere between 47 to 49 depending on the resolution.

I believe i ran it that way when i did the benchmark and i got a score of 2066 and my FPS was barely under 50. Is there anything i can do to optimize my computer to prioritize an application like a video game and stop all other non essential processes besides something like Game Booster? And thanks for replying so fast man.

With a high end rig like yours you shouldn't have to worry about shutting down background processes in order to run a game perfectly. Windows 7 is a great manager of cpu and memory usage.

Now if you come back and say that you've got 100 processes running in the background eating up 75% of your cpu cycles and 80% or your memory, we may need to talk again smile.gif

Other than that I wouldn't worry about it.

Its def nice to hear someone say its a high end system guitar.gif lol
I was able to come across some good deals on nearly all my components and somehow i was able to throw them all together and them actually work but i digress.
i dont have much running in the background besides rainmeter and my GPU and CPU monitoring tools on my other monitor so it sounds like i should be fine with that hopefully.

Well congrats on the new rig. It looks to be a very nice rig and I'm sure you'll find it plenty more powerful than the antiquated system we were discussing.
