Multi 120Hz monitor setups

Thread Starter
I see a lot of eyefinity and Nvidia surround setups with 3 or more 120Hz or 144Hz monitors. I'm debating going this route, but I'm curious to what kind of GPU power is needed to take advantage of the increased frequencies. Id hate to spend that kind of money and cap out at 60FPS wasting 3 good monitors.

Currently I have 2 670's and I get between 160-200 FPS in BF3 with my settings between medium/high/ultra.

Will this be enough to run above 120fps for 3X1 in portrait, or will I need to decrease settings more?

IMHO, two 780's would be more realistic for 120Hz-worthy framerates in BF3, unless you play older source-engine games.

CallSignVega or l88tbastard could chime in (or send them a PM).
