Your video out option to the TV should be 60hz 1080p, nothing else. TV's cannot handle anything above 60hz.

See if there is a setting for "pixel perfect" or something like that as well.

honestly its not a big deal, i use an xbox controller for most games i play on my tv anyways because i like the feel of it. i am currently playing tomb raider and i only notice lag if i really concentrate hard enough.
