After following this guide:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds/1170#post_15989972

This happened:

This happens whenever I try to launch Chrome from the toolbar. Windows Media Player won't work at all. Note that I recently reinstalled Windows 7 onto the primary SSD without reformatting it. (In case that means anything). It moved all my old stuff to a folder named "Windows.old".

Create a shortcut from the new directory, then add to your desktop/task at/wherever you want it. That should work. I had to create new shortcuts when I moved my os to an ssd and had a secondary drive for everything else.

But there is no new directory for the affected programs. The problem is that the programs have already been installed in C:\ (which is the SSD), but the system is mistakenly looking for them in H:\ (which is the HDD). I'm trying to get the system to install new programs in the H:\ drive, but everything thats already been installed is breaking when I make the necessary edits. (Chrome, Windows Media Player, and Winrar, to name a few)
