Throughout the past year, everyone has recommended getting a SeaSonic PSU, or a PSU which SeaSonic make (Like the XFX and Corsair series). I'm not an expert on PSUs or current (2013) power consumption needs of hardware, so I'm just taking their word for it.

Those other PSUs I recommend that are not branded "SeaSonic" are every bit as good. Some PSUs on the market are superior to anything SeaSonic offers. You can buy any PSU I recommended and end up with a high-end unit that you an trust with every atom of your being. It does not have to be a SeaSonic PSU.

For example, I could have recommended the LEPA G Series, but the prices weren't right for me to recommend them even though it's a high-end series of PSUs. I know, you haven't heard of LEPA. It's like with KINGWIN, and it's worse with the "Rosewill" brand name. However, all that matters is what's on the inside. The brand has nothing to do with it. So, just because the LEPA G Series and the KINGWIN Lazer Platinum series and the Rosewill CAPSTONE Series of PSUs are high-end, it doesn't mean that all LEPA and KINGWIN and Rosewill PSUs are good. These are just 3 little examples too.

;)

So, please try to trust me. If you don't want to trust one person (and I would support you in not taking just my word for it), then you can make a general thread here in the Power Supplies forum to ask about this.

Almost every PSU you can buy is not made by the brands that sells it

So brands are pointless look into who really made unit

Even major brands like EVGA and Corsair has crappy unit

And no Seasonic is not the kingf of the PSU world like everyone likes to think

No they are not bad but OEM´s like Super Flower and Delta are in fact ahead of Seasonic right now
