you have a good CPU cooler. you can easily overclock the FX-8320 to 4.5 Ghz with voltage tweaking. the Phenom II X4 955 can be sold for USD 50. so you would have spent only USD 95 out of the pocket.

you have another USD 130. if you want you can sell the Sapphire HD 7870 XT and go for HD 7950. its roughly a 15 - 20% upgrade when both cards are compared at avg OC .

Sapphire HD 7870 XT is still a good card for 1080p gaming. try and overclock it to 1200 - 1250 mhz. stick with it till 20nm cards release in Q3 2014.

is there really no performance increase between the 8350 and 8320?

The difference is only in clock speeds. If you're overclocking it doesn't matter. However, the 8350 may reach a slightly higher overclock but that too like all overclocking depends on luck.

when you run both at same clocks there is no difference. the stock speeds are higher on FX-8350. but with a good cooler like what you have you can push that FX-8320 chip to 4.5 Ghz. obviously with a bit of voltage increase. good luck. that FX-8320 for USD 145 is an amazing deal. that promo code COMPNTSEP19 is valid til Sep 9th. thumb.gif
