EVGA Precision reporting wrong clock?

Thread Starter
I recently purchased a EVGA GTX 780 with the ACX cooler and have just started overclocking it from the base of 967Mhz.

Using EVGA precision I have changed the base clock to +125.

The clocks are shown here:

This shows a base clock of 1092 Mhz and a boost of 1145 Mhz. However I have noticed that EVGA Precision, Afterburner and the GPU-Z sensor section are all reporting the GPU current clock to be 1267 Mhz.

Is this actually the speed my GPU is running at, or is there a bug somewhere?

Yes, Precision and AB are reporting the clocks with GPU Boost, (clocks will automatically adjust depending on temperature and application)

Right, so the boost clock reported in GPU-Z isn't actually the max current boost and precision is reporting the true current clock?

Those screenshots were taken with my card at idle, is not underclocking?

I asked this same question as I was overclocking my card. The correct reporting is in EVGA Precision and the live sensors on GPU-Z. If thats really at idle I'd say its not underclocking. Is that the stock BIOS? I never saw anything close to that unless I had a game or bench running.

Yep I haven't messed with the BIOS at all.

I have since uninstalled precision and reinstalled the drivers, and my card is once again downclocking. Will give it another shot later today.
