Custom Work - permanently suspended - Page 2

Thread Starter
That was a reasonable assumption, but we don't have to worry about barb clearance on the pedestal. If we offer a 140.3 mount on the T10, the 1st thing someone will try to do is put it on top of the frame.

Kevin,

How about this one! Is it possible to get an S3 standard windowed side panel with ventilation cut out underneath the window? I'd want to mount a 120mm rad in the lower compartment and would love to get a side panel thats essentially a hybrid of the standard window and vented side panels. Pardon my two second MS paint mock up, but this should give you an idea of what I mean.

This purposed part is exactly why we can't do custom work!!

Haha, just playing tongue.gif this type of door panel is something we have had a few requests for. So in other words... it on the list of things we want to do! I should point out that there is no ETA at this point.

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a custom top and bottom for the Mercury S5 so a person could shrink the depth down to the 15.03" of the S3? Since the height is listed as the same for the S3 and S5, would the S3 side panels work if a person had a custom and top and bottom? I really like the look of the S5 case but don't like the idea of an extra 4 inch depth.

Hello and welcome to OCN!! (I'm feeling a sense of Déjà vu tongue.gif )

There is more involved than just the top and bottom chassis sections. The entire chassis is different, literally every piece.

I think that I will need to change the thread title. The purpose for this thread was to inform everyone that we will not be doing any custom work because we need to use any open machine time for R&D. If we spend our limited open time running custom parts, we wont be able to expand our product line. We thank you for your interest though thumb.gif

Hello, i was wondering why don't you offer an extended 120mm top for the Mercury S5 that can hold 2 120.3 radiators as an option beside the pedestal?

Also, since i own Merlin SM8 with extended 120mm top (i bought it on the 1st week of the release) why don't you cancel the option of choosing the power button location and the whole idea of being able to chose which place you want your windows at, since all PC cases around the world have their window on the left panel, instead you can support more native HDD's and SSD's, and more space for cables and stuff.

And about the pedestal, some people (like me) prefer a low profile pedestal (shorter than 197mm hight) and it can only fit 120 radiators, maybe you can shrink the hight to 120mm instead of 197mm.

I'm a proud owner of Merlin SM8 and Mercury S5, for me the case size is the most important thing, that's why i chose Merlin SM8 over Magnum SMH10 because of the depth, even though i really wanted the Magnum SMH10, but i got a tight space.

Just my honest POV.

Hello, I was visiting cpachris' build log. I was wondering if caselabs did the custom paint job on his case "crimson" I believe is the color that was used? if so can other custom colors be requested? Thanks & keep up the great work. thumb.gif
