0% only throttles a handful of games to any noticeable degree, but will heavily throttle the apps they don't want you running. +20% is usually enough to remove any game throttling, at stock speeds or with mild OCs.

I've toned down my OC to stock 925/ 1500 and I'm thinking about installing 13.4's. Why not I've tried every other driver out right now. Do 13.4's if I download them require and cap downloads? I don't see any on AMD's site but I thought one came out. After those are installed I'll crank it to +20% and do a run and see what happens. I'm going to stick with 3dmark11 for now heaven benchmark seems like the devil.

Can you run the benchmark and let Afterburner graphic the temps, core clock, mem clock, ram usage and post it? Sometimes it gives useful data.

Well ain't this something. So ran stock core 925Mhz 1500memory 1100mV 20%+ power limit, It really seems as though lower core and temps down are a huge benefit. Max temp I hit was 76C that time. I also did this run using 13.4 drivers.

I'll give it a go later. I did find that now that I've tried trixx, afterburner, powercolors piece of crap, when I run afterburner now the fan speeds get all wonky. It's my preferred utility as it shows the most amount of info however trixx seems to work so if it ain't broke.....

Edit:

Alright I ran it with the same settings except at 0%, interesting enough it was like 10+ degrees cooler than running it with the power limit set to 20%.
